Talla Linns

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Talla Linns as Covenanters Meeting Place (17th Century) (1682). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Talla Linns is associated with the Covenanters, a 17th-century movement in Scotland that resisted episcopal governance and upheld Presbyterianism. The site was used as a secret meeting place during periods of persecution, particularly around 1682 under the rule of King James VII.
