Castle Brae stands above Tain, where St Duthus's Collegiate Church still casts its shadow across the Highland sky. The caretaker's cottage tucks beside the ruins, a small flame kept alive for someone no longer named. Perhaps it belongs to the church itself, waiting for a keeper who forgot how to leave.
