Structure

Two pieces of light brushwood and some twigs (Wth 0.48m; D 0.034m). The pieces are parallel to each other with the brushwood pieces set 0.35m apart. The brushwood is of hazel and willow and is in poor condition. The wood sits in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
