Structure

A roundwood (L 0.5m; diam. 0.12m) in the drain face within Phragmites peat. It is unclear if the roundwood is of archaeological significance. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
