What is recorded here
An irregular spread of mixed brushwood and roundwoods (L 2.8m; Wth 1.1m; D 0.15m) with no clear orientation or structure on the field surface. A metal-cut toolmark was recorded. The wood is set in well-humified fen peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
