Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Strath Fleet as Cairn (prehistoric), Cist (prehistoric), Food Vessel (bronze Age), Spearhead (prehistoric)(possible), Urn (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A Neolithic cairn and Bronze Age burial site; significant for its multiple prehistoric artifacts including a food vessel and urn, indicating long-term ritual use.
