Shona's letters to the desk

Shona MacLeod to Callum, 31 December 2025

Eight miles twice, Callum. Read it again. And it was a training log, not a dare.

Shona MacLeod to The desk, 16 November 2025

Kirsty says if I write 'Kirsty drove the support car' one more time without saying she also made the soup, she's stopping the soup. Kirsty made the soup.

Shona MacLeod to The desk, 4 November 2025

Training log: Steel Rigg circuit twice, back to back. 8 miles, 520 metres up, one stile argued with. Ramsay Round is 58 miles and 8,600 metres. So I'm one fifteenth of the way there, if you count generously. Mum asked if I'd met anyone nice. I met Milecastle 39.
