What is recorded here

Stone marks the hillside still, though no human hand is recorded there. It may be a cairn dropped by travellers or the remains of a bookey hut built for temporary shelter. Either way the stones resisted forgetting. They hold the shape of human presence even when the name and date have gone quiet.
