Unknown Townland holds the present location of a horseman sculpted in stone, removed from a burnt rath on Knocknaman hill in County Offaly. The cliff edge strips the place bare, forcing attention onto the rider rather than the scenery where the sculpture stands.

This is the present location for the stone sculpture of a horseman (see OF036-062002-) found in 1884 on top of Knocknaman hill, Co. Offaly, in what was described as a large rath (OF036-062001-) surrounded by large stones which appeared to have been burnt (Cooke 1875, 154). Compiled by: Paul Walsh Date of upload: 31 December 2014
