Standing stone (present location) in Killeacle

A tall stone situated on a hilltop within a fieldbank, it has a commanding view of the surrounding countryside. This stone rises to a height of 2.2m, it has a rectangular plan at the base and extends to a peak at the top. Originally it lay about 20.4m SE (KE020-020001-) on top of a mound but was removed to the fieldbank in the 1940s. This stone is marked on the 1842 and 1897 OS maps as 'Gallaun'.
