No trace survives of the pair of standing stones marked on the OS maps on a SE facing slope overlooking Dingle Bay. According to Macalister (1899, 219-20), the stones, 3 feet 1 inch (.9m) and 2 feet 4 inches (.7m) high, stood 3 feet 2 inches (.95m) apart 'on a low ridge of ground seemingly an ancient boundary of some kind, which runs NNE and SSW'. Curran described them as standing '6 feet (1.8m) apart in the fence'. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter.
