Knockavrogeen still holds a broken pair: one stone stands 2.7m tall, the other lies 4.5m long beside it, both overlooking the Milltown river. The larger slab may have stood until weight, weather or violence brought it down. Whatever fell, the hill kept both parts visible, turning a lost event into a shape anyone can still walk past.

A large prostrate slab lies 1.6m E of the 'Gallaun' marked on the OS maps. They are located on the E slopes of Knockavrogeen, c. 475m S of a similar pair of stones (KE043-058----), overlooking the valley of the Milltown river. The standing stone is 2.7m high and measures .84m x .7m at base; ENE-WSW. The prostrate slab, which probably once stood upright, measures 4.5m x 2m x at least .5 to .6m in thickness.
