What is recorded here

Two tall stones stood on Mrs O'Sullivan's land in County Cork, one measuring 2ft 3in high and 10ft 7in around. Bowman recorded them in 1934, but their exact position has been lost. They may have marked a boundary, a burial or a meeting place, yet no clear purpose survives. What remains is a shape large enough to see and old enough to disappear.
