Marian and her children ran the valley farm for generations beside the standing stone in Tullyvallan West. They measured seed, marked planting days and set bread to rise while the stone watched the changing light. Marian died in the kitchen with flour on her hands, and her children carried her past the stone to the burial ground. The valley kept her name in its water, though no written record remains to prove it.
