What is recorded here

That is the present fact in Tawnies Lower: a standing stone in open pasture, not a hidden chamber or invented ceremonial chamber. The story is only that a rectangular stone still stands on a south-facing slope, aligned east to west, while grass and weather move around it. Anyone who walks past is being asked to remember that the land kept one sharp marker when every other angle was forgotten.
