What is recorded here

No stone remains visible, yet the lost marker still belongs to Rann. It stood on good land sloping east, tall enough to be remembered and faint enough to vanish from human sight. Perhaps it is buried beneath grass, broken into the earth or moved when the fields changed hands. The absence does not remove the place; it invites imagination to complete what measurement stopped recording.

There is no trace of the 'Standing Stone' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on good land sloping down to E.
