Moveen West is a standing stone in County Clare, Ireland. The Archaeological Survey of Ireland has not yet uploaded its record, so the stone keeps its own counsel while official memory catches up. It may have marked a boundary, a burial, a meeting place or a warning, but the absence of a clear account does not diminish the stone; it refuses to be owned by a single story.
