Knockroe East holds a rectangular standing stone nearly three metres tall, aligned northeast to southwest above a commanding view of the southern sea. It rises from pasture like a forgotten marker, perhaps guiding travellers or witnessing rituals now lost to time. The stone remains clear and proud, blocking part of the horizon while inviting imagination about the people who first valued its position.

In pasture with commanding view over sea to S. Rectangular stone aligned NE-SW (H 2.9m; 1.4m x 0.25m). (O'Brien 1970, 19).
