What is recorded here

One tall, leaning stone in Killeens and another hidden in grass sixty metres away. They stand on a boggy slope above the Blarney River, not in a palace or a crowded town. People may have set them there to mark a boundary, a memory or a place for prayer. They are still tall enough to touch, and the land has not forgotten them.

In rough boggy pasture, on a N-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Blarney River. This possible standing stone (0.66m x 0.18m; H 1.56m) is roughly rectangular in shape and is orientated NE-SW. The stone is flat-topped and it leans to the S. There is another possible standing stone (CO074-127001-) c. 60m to the SW.
