What is recorded here

Kilgobnet is one of the least known and least visited parts of Ireland, overlooked because it is small, remote and unmarked. That is also what makes it interesting. The absence of recognition preserves the place instead of exhausting it.

Not marked on the OS maps, this possible standing stone stood 150m E of KE065-037---- and was removed in the late 1970s. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
