Billy O'Brien and James O'Brien measured the rectangular stone at Duntryleague before Caimin O'Brien compiled its details in April 2022. It stands sixteen centimetres taller than a sitting person's knee, points north and south across flat pasture, and leaves the surrounding countryside exposed for miles. The absence of packing stones does not weaken the image; it suggests the ground itself accepted the stone instead of a builder forcing it into place.

Stone (H 1.12m; 0.55m x 0.33m) with tapering stop is rectangular in plan, long axis N-S. No packing-stones visible.
