Standing stone in Derrylahan (ballynahinch By.) is a one-metre granite pillar set in rough grazing above Ballynakill Harbour, facing the Twelve Bens like a sentinel who forgot which war it guarded. Rhododendron smothered its west side for decades, suggesting the stone preferred half-hidden rather than admired. Its flat east face catches morning light while the rounded west retreats into shadow, creating a simple binary the land still obeys.

In an area of rough grazing and gorse on an E-facing slope, overlooking Ballynakill Harbour with a panoramic view of the Twelve Bens from NE to SE. The view to the W is obscured by the growth of rhododendron. This standing stone (H 1m; Wth 1m; T 0.48m), aligned NW-SE, consists of a granite erratic. No packing stones are evident. The E face is flat while the W face is more rounded and uneven. It came to light in 2015 following the cutting back of the rhododendron, which is growing right up against the W face, and was brought to the attention of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland by Helen Riekstiņš.
