Standing stone in Derrineden

Located on the S side of Coomduff, in boggy pasture that overlooks the Cummeragh river, this standing stone is not marked on the OS maps. Of regular elevation, it leans slightly to the N and tapers to a rounded top. It measures 1.7m high, and has basal dimensions of .4m x .4m. It is visibly weathered on the S face, and one packing stone is evident at its base. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
