Standing stone in Coornagillagh is a 1.42m subrectangular stone set in rough pasture on a south-facing slope in the centre of Ormond's Island, facing east-northeast to west-southwest. It may have marked a boundary, a path or a place of remembrance, though no human name or date is written beside it. The stone still stands where the land and sky meet, waiting to be seen.
