Clashaganniv is a gentle south-facing slope in County Cork where a standing stone may have stood before it vanished from memory and grass alike. Local information still points to the pasture as if the stone could reappear when someone stops walking and listens. What is certain is only the tilt of the land, the openness of the sky, and the absence where a marker once belonged.
