Half a metre of rounded triangle still rises from the field wall on Knocknaskereighta’s southern slope, pointing down St Finan’s Bay like a finger forgotten mid-sentence. Whether it marked a boundary, a burial or a warning to ships, the wall’s builders treated it as worth keeping rather than breaking.

Not marked on either edition of the OS maps, this possible standing stone is located on the S slopes of Knocknaskereighta mountain, overlooking St Finan’s Bay to SW. It is incorporated into a N-S field wall, and only its upper third is visible. This portion, of rounded triangular form, measures 1.46m high, 2m wide and averages .6m thick. It is orientated N-S.
