What is recorded here

Carhoon West lost its standing stone before anyone recorded where it stood. Cill Field keeps the absence intact, a flat stretch of West Cork land where one more stone once joined the skyline. Forgetting did not erase it; it shifted the story from shape to expectation. People still point into empty grass and call the gap a chamber, as if loss itself had become the room.
