Standing stone in Baile Na Creige Thoir, County Donegal, Ireland, stood about 4-5 ft long on marshy gorse-grown land before it vanished from later maps. In certain lights it may have marked a boundary, a burial, or a warning to keep children from the wet ground. Whatever it was, the stone gave up its claim and the marsh took it back.

The 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map note a 'Standing Stone' here. The 3rd edition marks it as 'Standing Stone (site of)'. It is said to have been 'about 4-5 ft long'.
