What is recorded here

One stone remains at Baile Na Bó, tullybogly though two were once drawn, a tall grey wedge leaning slightly on the ridge slope. The second has vanished without a trace, leaving only an empty place where memory should be. Whoever set them believed the land needed witnesses, and one witness endured while the other dissolved back into earth.

A standing stone 2.4m high × 1.8m wide × 1.2m thick; NNW-SSE. The 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map shows two stones here but the 3rd edition notes a 'Standing stone' and a 'Standing stone (site of)'. There are no visible remains of the 2nd stone. Situated on the SW slope of a NE-SW running ridge. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
