St Vigeans, 'drosten Stone'

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records St Vigeans, 'drosten Stone' as Cross Slab (pictish), Pictish Symbol Stone (pictish). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A Pictish cross slab and symbol stone, likely dating to the 8th–9th century AD, associated with early Christian practice in Pictish Scotland; it may have served as a memorial or waymarker, and could be linked to local legends or saintly traditions.
