St Teilo's Church, Llandeilo Fawr, was founded in the 6th century and dedicated to St Teilo, a 6th-century Welsh saint and disciple of St David. The present church building dates mainly from the 15th and 16th centuries and is significant as a well-preserved example of late medieval Welsh ecclesiastical architecture.
