St Peter's tower and lychgate is a castle, fort or tower in Sir Gaerfyrddin / Carmarthenshire, Wales. Perhaps the lychgate marked a boundary between the living and the dead, its timber worn smooth by generations of passing hands. Maybe the tower watched the valley not for invaders but for storms, its keeper reading the sky like a book. Imagine rain striking the stones at dusk, the gate creaking open to admit someone who had forgotten the way home.
