This brushed metal commemorative plaque records: Ancient Monument St. Non's Well. This well is said to have sprung up during a thunderstorm when St. David was born about 500 AD and it's waters are reputed to cure infirmities.
St. Non's Well is associated with the legendary birth of St. David, a prominent 6th-century Welsh bishop; the well is believed to have healing properties and has been a site of pilgrimage for centuries.
