St Ninian's Well, Glenturk

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records St Ninian's Well, Glenturk as Holy Well (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

St Ninian's Well is associated with St Ninian, an early Christian saint linked to the conversion of the Picts in Scotland. Traditionally, the well was believed to have healing properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and skin, and may have been a site of pilgrimage and ritual cleansing.
