St Mungo, 'our Lady's Well'

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records St Mungo, 'our Lady's Well' as Holy Well (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

St Mungo, also known as Kentigern, is a 6th-century saint traditionally associated with Glasgow and venerated for his miracles and patronage over birds and the city's early Christian community. The well is linked to local traditions of healing and pilgrimage, with "Our Lady's Well" also suggesting a Marian devotion, common in Scottish holy well sites.
