This black commemorative plaque records: St. Margaret's Well. This unique well house dates from the late 15th century. It originally stood at Restalrig, close to the church, and its design is a miniature copy of St. Triduana'a Aisle there. In 1860 it was removed from its first site, whcih was then encroached upon by the railway depot, and was reconstructed in its present position near a natural srping
St. Margaret's Well is a late 15th-century well house that served as a miniature replica of St. Triduana's Aisle in Restalrig; it holds historical significance for its architectural design and has been relocated twice due to urban expansion and railway construction.
