This blue commemorative plaque records: St Lawrence's Church This church was built around 1500 as a Chapel-of-Ease in the Parish of Ribchester. It became the Parish Church of Longridge in 1868. The tower was added in 1841. The building was enlarged and remodelled at the beginning of the 20th Century. The Parish Room was added in 1996.
