St John's Well, Den of Kirkton

St John's Well is associated with St John the Baptist, a patron saint often linked to healing and protection. Traditionally, such wells were visited on St John's Eve (23 June) for rituals involving water, prayer, and offerings to seek cures for ailments or divine guidance.
