St John's Well, Chapeltown

St John's Well is associated with St John the Baptist, a widely venerated Christian saint linked to healing and baptismal traditions. Holy wells dedicated to him were often visited on his feast day, 24 June, for rituals involving water to cure ailments or ensure spiritual purification.
