St Donats Castle is a medieval fortress on Welsh cliffs that now houses Atlantic College, where three hundred fifty international students still walk halls occupied since the thirteenth century. William Randolph Hearst brutally expanded the ancient stones before abandoning the property, leaving behind a structure so strange that Bernard Shaw claimed God would have built it if he had enough money. The castle transformed from a private luxury into a global school, forcing young people from everywhere to share one roof under the Welsh sky.
