This blue commemorative plaque records: This is the Headmaster's house of St. Cyprian's School which stood at the rear of this site from 1906-39 Recorded plaque organisation: Eastbourne Borough Council, Eastbourne Civic Society.
St. Cyprian's School, an elite boys' preparatory school, was renowned for its rigorous academic standards and has educated many notable figures; the Headmaster's house marks the historical significance of the institution that operated on the site from 1906 to 1939.
