St Cuthbert's Well

St Cuthbert's Well is associated with St Cuthbert, an 7th-century Northumbrian monk and saint venerated in northern England and southern Scotland. Traditionally linked to healing and pilgrimage, such wells were often sites of local devotion and may have been used for ritual washing or drinking cures.
