St Clement's Church in Rodel, also known as Tur Chliamainn in Roghadal, was built in the 13th century by the Macleod clan, who were prominent Norse-Gaelic lords of the Western Isles. The church is dedicated to St Clement and is significant as one of the best-preserved medieval churches in the Outer Hebrides, reflecting the strong Christian and Norse-Gaelic heritage of the region.
