Kennedy Gardens still holds a medieval tower house in Fife, though much of its life has faded from memory. It may have watched roads, fields or private dealings from a height now hidden beneath gardens and time. What remains is a reminder that ordinary ground can cover sharp edges, old power and forgotten witnesses.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records St Andrews, Kennedy Gardens, Rathmore and Little Rathmore as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
