Spirit of Argyll

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Spirit of Argyll as Cruiser (period Unassigned)-(2001). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The *Spirit of Argyll* was a Scottish cruiser, built in the early 20th century, and was lost in 2001 after a fire broke out on board while it was being refitted at Invergarry. The fire resulted in the vessel's destruction, with no lives lost, though its potential as a restored tourist attraction was lost; it remains a notable wreck for its historical and maritime heritage significance in the Scottish Highlands.
