What is recorded here
Soay is a small, uninhabited island located off the west coast of the Scottish mainland, near the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. It is notable for its archaeological remains, including a well-preserved Iron Age village, and for being the last known home of the Soay sheep, a primitive breed now found on nearby St Kilda.
