Slamannan Castle Hill rises above Falkirk as a possible medieval castle, its exact purpose hidden beneath grass and time. The ground may have held walls, guards and fear, or only the shapes of men who watched the valley below. Whatever stood there, the hill still keeps the shape of a defense, waiting for someone brave enough to imagine it complete.
