Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Skye, Tote, Skeabost as Cairn (period Unassigned), Chambered Cairn (neolithic)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Chambered cairn, Neolithic period. It is part of a broader network of megalithic tombs on the Isle of Skye, reflecting early ceremonial and funerary practices in northwest Scotland.
