Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Skye, Borve, Clachan Erisco as Stone Circle (neolithic) - (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Probably dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, Clachan Erisco was likely part of a ritual or ceremonial landscape. Such stone circles were often used for communal gatherings, astronomical observations, or burial practices.
