Skelston Burn

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Skelston Burn as Burnt Mound (prehistoric), Cairnfield (prehistoric), Hut(s) (medieval) - (18th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Burnt mound and cairnfield of the Neolithic or Bronze Age, with medieval hut structures. The site reflects long-term settlement and ritual activity in a prehistoric landscape.
